Amy-leigh Blackett

Amy-Leigh has been a inspiration to many young people of north east lincolnshire. She was elected by her peers to to be the first ever Young mayor of north east lincolnshire. representing the youth of north east lincolnshire across the borough and the country meeting up with the 'young mayors network' down in london. Amy-leigh was brought up in a 'deprived area', she has gone on to do youth work voluntarily with the council for young people, and various other groups in Grimsby. She has just finished Secondary school and is expected to achieve good grades in all her subjects with some of her course-work being taken by the exam board assossors to show nationwide as a 'perfect example' of how course work should be presented. She would be a great example to the youth of what can be achieved in life if you put your mind to it.
