Amy's nomination story

Amy is my Grand Daughter and is in year12 at Chatham Grammar School where she is taking 4 A levels, she hopes to go to University to study Medicine. Amy mentors lower years during her lunch break, she has just finished her Dof E Silver and she is also a valued helper at MAGIC, Medway Autisic Group. Amy is taking part in the run for life at Maidstone in July, with her Kicking boxing group. Amy has been living with us for just over a year now and has been very supportive to me and her Grand Father John who had a cancerous tumour in his jaw in 2006 and heart surgery in 2009. Amy is bright bubbly and is always ready to help others and will give most things a go.I know she has been studying really hard for these exams, she even took her books with her on the Dof E weekend at Sandown Forest . When Sir Sebastian Coe announced on Breakfast TV that you where looking for torch runners, her face lit up and she said I would love to do that. Amy is very special and a very deserving young lady please give her a thought. Many thanks Betty Ambrose
