Amanda Bain

Amanda Bain has been in the Brownie Guide movement for 29 years. She started as a Brownie when she was 7 years old and became a Young Leader moving on to become a Warranted Leader. She has been doing this for 20 years. Amanda ran the Group single handed for one year due to a lack of leaders.

Amanda is continually fundraising for the Brownies and the Guides and has raised £500 this year. Each year she is continually fundraising. The various fundraising activities she has lead have been Pampering Evenings for the parents, sponsored walks and Puppet shows. Amanda involves all the Brownies and Guides in the activities and they all enjoy themselves.

Amanda takes the Brownies and Guides on Community evenings to the Old Peoples Homes to entertain and the elderly greatly appreciate their involvement in taking time out to visit and entertain them. Amanda has also taken the Brownies & Guides to camp twice a year.
