Alison Scott

Alison is a 15 year old who loves helping her local community, especially the young and those with special needs, volunteering in her own time 2 nights a week with swimming lessons, helping under 10s feel more confident in the water. Ali took part in a UK Disability Inclusion Training Workshop and now helps weekly in an exciting new venture providing a variety of sports to young people with disabilities. She is on the pupil sports council, encouraging school kids to participate in sport. Alison assists the local youth rugby club, painting fences and walls, along with fundraising. Ali also helps coach at a new netball programme in Blairgowrie for those of all abilities. She plays netball for her school, the under 17 district team and a ladies team. Encouraging a variety of other young people to participate in sport has turned her from a quiet child to an outgoing, confident teenager.
