Alison Mcintosh

Through BP's relationship with Meldrum Academy, BP is proud to nominate Alison as a torchbearer. Alison is a truly inspirational pupil who has shown incredible strength and achieved tremendous success while coping with the illness, and sadly the loss, of a parent. Alison puts 100% into everything she commits to, meeting every deadline and producing school work to the very best of her ability. As a result, she attained excellent grades in her S4 exams. Alison is a very giving person who has a smile for everyone and is a loyal, supportive friend to many pupils. All of Meldrum Academy is behind Alison's torchbearer nomination. She is a "Grampian Leader" and a willing volunteer who helps with the delivery of the Active-Schools Programme for primary pupils as well as major Aberdeenshire events. Alison participates widely in extra-curricular and inter-house/school activities including Duke of Edinburgh and jogging, and has used this interest as a means of fundraising for charities
