Alexis Perry

Alexis has a special gift of empowering young people who are disabled, or are from disadvantaged backgrounds and have low self esteem. Alexis has committed her resources and time by setting up a "not for profit" organisation that provides respite and opportunity to disabled children and young people to enable them to access experiences that would otherwise be denied them. These children and young people are supported by young care workers that Alexis has employed and who often themselves have experienced social and/or educational exclusion and who are given the opportunity to gain vocational skills and a sense of self worth by seeing the difference that their support can make to the child or young person in their care.
