Stuart's nomination story

?Born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and is a wheelchair user ?Attended mainstream schools and college ?For 12 years he has been a volunteer for the Stroke Association assisting in running support groups ?Won Volunteer of the Year of Grimsby and Cleethorpes in 1999 ?On the Role of Honour in Grimsby Town Hall ?In 2002 chosen to carry the Manchester Commonwealth Games baton in Hull ?Represented the County in the Rotary Games taking part in wheelchair racing, table tennis and darts. ?Volunteer Youth Worker in a mainstream Youth Centre ?Other interests include swimming and horse riding. Stuart is now 40 years of age and spends his time helping others. His constant positive attitude and cheerful persona make him invaluable to those he supports. He is an inspiration to all. I am hoping that if he is successful in being chosen it will show that all his hard work and achievements have been worthwhile.
