Scott Norman

Since retiring and moving to Dorset, Scott has become involved with the local community on a variety of levels. He is now Chair of the Parish Council, North Dorset CAB, CEPEND- the community partnership for North Dorset, and DT11 Forum which has meant his involvement with various initiatives: obtaining premises for a new community hub, the opening of the Trailway pathway, proposed building of a film/theatre venue, improvement of the Broadband supply to rural areas of Dorset, all on a volunteer basis. He is also acting Chair of CAiD: the association of the ten CABs in Dorset. He is a member of the Executive of 'Sowing Seeds'- the local action group for the distribution of funds from DEFRA for start-up businesses in the rural community. In the past he has been an active member of Round Table and Rotary. He has raised money for various Charities by running in four London Marathons.
