Alan Dobson

Alan coaches kids football for kids aged 8-9 year old as part of his drive to improve the fitness & community engagement, plus fair play of local kids in the South Side of Glasgow. Through this he has introduced 100 kids to run for the first time in the Junior Great Scot Run & has been a strong supporter of local schools in the Bank of Scotland School Sport Week programme. He has generated a strong community spirit and engagement among parents and kids, as well as liaising with other football teams. He has helped improve relationships with other communities particularly in the football tournament he organised in June with 14 other teams taking part. He has been encouraging kids to eat healthily & be more active.

Alan has also been a big supporter of Bank of Scotland in the community & recently won a local community award for working with his local school on raising awareness in finance. He has registered 100 kids to take part in the Junior BoS great Scottish Run and plays a big part in running his local kids football team. He does all this whilst managing one of our biggest branches in Scotland.
