Alan Brown

Alan is a wonderful role model for all to aspire to. He is an inspirational individual who always puts others first. For more than 30 years he has raised thousands of pounds for charitable and worthwhile causes and always with a smile and sense of fun. You name it Alan has done it ! He has run after school clubs for all ages, been a school governor, church warden, appeal co-ordinator and recently secured funding for an allotment so that disabled children could learn to grow plants and vegetables. He has turned the use of a church hall into a community building for all to use - brownies, guides, art classes, mother and toddlers, archery, yoga classes. He has been working with senior citizens of late and they really look forward to him entertaining them with songs, bingo and games. It would be a fantastic honour for Alan to carry the torch as he is a true unsung hero !!!
