Ainsley's nomination story

Ainsley is 21,profoundly autistic, has severe learning difficulties and has epilepsy..He has no verbal language and requires 24/7 care.Despite this,Ainsley has a can do attitude, supported by a specialist college and staff and parents who support this attitude. He attends Seashell Royal College, which caters for students 18-25 years old with complex learning, physical, sensory and communication needs. He is inspirational to others in that he performs to the best of his abilities and does not allow his additional needs to get in the way of achieving his targets. He enjoys a lot of physical activity and so has channelled this into challenges which he can train for.He has completed several sponsored walks for different charities and recently two triathlons for charity.(this when it took him about 6 years to learn how to swim and ride a bike!) Ainsley shows everyone can contribute to our society
