Ahmad is a DMU student who has been an exceptional volunteer. He has worked with local children through the Right to Read programme, helping them improve their reading skills. He frequently contributes to charities, and raised funds for Islamic Relief (climbing Ben Nevis), Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (cycling from London to Edinburgh), and Christian Aid (abseiling from the top of the Leicester Tigers Stadium). He has also raised funds for the Japan Tsunami victims and been a volunteer on the DMU Mile2 Project. Additionally, he has volunteered overseas in Kenya, building a library, and improving the schooling facilities for local children. He has been an exchange ambassador to China, further broadening his perspective and involvement in voluntary work, and serving as an ambassador for the UK. At DMU, he participates in the Student Union Volunteering Society, and received an award for his efforts to support others in need.
