Adam Rooke

Adam has been a voluntary coach on Sunday mornings at Topsham RFC for the last 4 years. He couldn't sit and watch on the sidelines and offered his assistance to the coaching staff, initially providing fitness training.  After his first season, he became the lead coach for all training aspects within the U7's including maintaining a database of the squad, match reports, weekly comms, festival / tour attendance and ensuring all squad coaches had completed the relevant courses.  He is now with the U9's where he also maintains the teams website page.  Through his actions and approach to this voluntary work, his inspiration within this community has meant that he has maintained a squad level of 25+ boys each season (only 7 can play at U7's / 8's and 9 at U9's). Many teams and parents comment on the amount of players and parents that turn up each week.
