Adam Green

Adam was a volunteer at a community radio station for young people in Knowsley for 2 years. In that time he has become an integeral part of the team working on the news team and presenting our breakfast show Mon-Fri. The standard of work he has achieved in this time is exceptional! The breakfast show helped win a best station in the North West award and got us nominated for a Radio Academy Award. Something you can go a whole career in radio without ever achieving. The breakfast show has now been selected for a BBC Radio 4 Documentary series. Apart from some intial training all the work and creativity and hard drive and commitment has led to all these successes. All the time he has remained grounded and modest, helping other volunteers and being a pleasure to work with. He will go far with this kind of dedication. An inspiration to all he works with.
