Adam Gouldson

Adam is my husband and father to our 2 beautiful children. As you would imagine he would do anything for us. But its not just us he would do anything for. Since the age of 18 Adam has put his life in harms way to help others. He served for 5 years in the Army goimg to Northern Ireland twice and to Afghanistan. After leaving he joinned the Fire Service. He has been a Firefighter for nearly 6 years and has risked his life to save others on a number of occasions. Yet 3 years ago he was diagnosed with a inoperable brain tumour. This has already cost him the sight in 1 eye and we have yearly appointments now to check its growth. This hit us hard as a family but Adam just gets up and gets on with it and helps us and others to deal with and understand it. He will always put others before himself and always will. If he was given the chance to carry the torch it would mean so so much to him.
