Adam Cook

Adam works for the NHS South East Coast SHA in Horley. He has shown great leadership, drive and creativity in helping us achieve the Silver award for the NHS challenge and the Inspire Mark. Adam has done this with great energy through weekly lunchtime walks around Horley encouraging colleagues to get fit. He set up and led the Gatwick walks and suggested the concept of the Physical Activity Dashboard to record the efforts of all our staff, whatever their chosen activity or ability, to go that extra mile for the NHS. Adam is now encouraging us to take on swimming and football challenges in these cold winter evenings, or something a bit dryer such as office table tennis! Our Sport and Physical Activity group think Adam deserves the award because of his enthusiasm, creativity and encouragement. It would be a great honour for Adam, the NHS and our organisation. CR
