Competition format
The Teams competition has no preliminary phase. Each team first performs their technical routine, in an order decided by a draw before the event. Once all the technical routines have been performed, each team performs their free routine, again in an order decided by a draw. The scores from each routine are combined to give a total score.
The team with the highest total score takes the gold medal.
