Partner showcases

The Olympic Park will host eight innovative sponsor showcases during the London 2012 Games, each offering spectators a distinct and novel experience. Images of the showcases can be found below or by scrolling through the images above.

Coca-Cola Beatbox
As the longest continuous sponsor of the Olympic Movement, Coca-Cola is using its heritage and involvement in London 2012 to shine a spotlight on Britain’s brightest stars and inspire other young people to pursue their passions.

For the Games themselves, Coca-Cola has been working together for over a year with young and emerging talent to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience on the Olympic Park. Coca Cola has commissioned two emerging architects to design our London 2012 pavilion, called The Coca-Cola Beatbox. The vibrant design fuses the passions of sport and music, highlighting an anthem created especially for Coca-Cola by GRAMMY award-winning producer Mark Ronson. Visitors will literally be able to 'play' the Coca-Cola Beatbox like a musical instrument.

Celebrating Britain’s brightest talent, more than 300 young people from across the London boroughs will be given the chance to perform here throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition, all the official Coca-Cola pin badges have been created by two young designers, with profits going to our grassroots sports charity partner StreetGames.

Join Coca-Cola on the Olympic Park and get moving to the beat in celebration!

The Acer Journey
Celebrate the joy of discovery by visiting Acer’s unique entertainment experience in the London 2012 Olympic Park. The Acer Journey extends across two floors, packed with a variety of high-tech features that appeal to the human desire to explore.

Visitors are creative and active participants in The Pavilion. They can test themselves at the Acer Challenge Arena; are invited to browse a universe of contents at the Acer Journey Sphere; and are challenged to push themselves to the limit at the Acer Predator gaming zone and be surprised by the Infinity gateway. The visitor experience culminates in a spectacular theatre performance.

BMW Group Pavilion
BMW Group, Official Automotive Partner to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, is proud to present the BMW Group Pavilion on the Olympic Park. The 800m2 Pavilion, designed by British architecture firm Serie, is located on an elevated platform over the Waterworks River, between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre.

The Pavilion is a significant architectural addition to the Olympic Park, and also reflects BMW Group’s continued commitment to sustainability. Serie’s innovative design uses river water to provide a sustainable source of cooling for the building before returning this filtered water to the river via an eye-catching ‘water curtain’ feature. In fact, every element of the BMW Group Pavilion has been designed to reflect the company’s heritage in environmental innovation. The two-storey superstructure is built of steel with high recycled content and the use of carbon-intensive materials such as concrete has also been minimised.

The top floor of the two-storey structure features standalone pavilions, each showcasing the latest BMW and MINI models, including the new BMW i3 and i8 concept cars, while on ground level visitors can learn about BMW Group’s role in the Games through a range of interactive exhibits, articulating BMW Group’s vision for sustainable mobility. A short film in the in-house cinema will take the audience on a journey through the world of BMW, MINI and BMW i, and there will be an opportunity to Roar with MINI to show support for Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

BP Fuelling the Future
As London welcomes the world to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, BP is helping fuel the Games in innovative new ways designed to inspire millions of people to think about the mobility choices they make every day.

BP's centrepiece in the Olympic Park will be the spectacular ‘Fuelling the Future’ experience. This will showcase how BP is rising to the global energy challenge by discovering and recovering energy efficiently, responsibly and safely from some of the most hostile environments on earth.

Presented by a group of outstanding international Olympians and Paralympians that BP is proud to support, the 15-minute experience will immerse visitors in a giant, 360-degree rotating cyclorama of extraordinary panoramic images and effects, designed to bring to life the remarkable daily journey that the energy we all rely on takes before it reaches us.

Along the way, the presentation will show how BP people around the world, just like the Olympians and Paralympians, are constantly challenging themselves to perform better every day, striving to achieve their own ‘personal bests’. Visitors will then be challenged to set a new personal best for themselves, by reducing their own carbon footprint during the Games.

Through this unique mix of information and entertainment, BP aims to use its role as the Official Oil and Gas Partner to raise awareness of how London 2012 is minimising the carbon impact of the Games, whilst hosting a spectacular, unforgettable global event.
