Fifteen school and college leavers have started their careers at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) by having the opportunity to meet and take part in a question and answer session with the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
Dennis Hone was today appointed Chief Executive elect of the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA). He will replace David Higgins in February 2011, who will be leaving the ODA to take up his new post as Chief Executive of Network Rail.

The London Organising Committee (LOCOG) has obtained planning permission to host the Olympic Archery event at Lord’s in 2012. Permission was granted by the Westminster City Council Planning and City Development Committee on 2nd September for the installation of temporary facilities and structures associated with hosting the Olympic Archery events in 2012.
