The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today announced Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express as the ‘Official Hotel Services Provider to London 2012’ and a Tier Three commercial partner.

Simon Lillistone has been appointed as the London Organising Committee’s Cycling Manager for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. He will look after all cycling events which will take place at the Velopark in the Olympic Park, the Road races around London and the Mountain Bike events at Hadleigh Farm in Essex.

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today confirm that McCann Worldgroup has been appointed as its Official Marketing Services Provider, in a Tier Three deal. Led by McCann London the agency will work with the marketing team at LOCOG for the next three years and their scope of work will include developing the overall look and feel of the Games.

London 2012 is calling on industry to help them find a sustainable solution for the use of materials, such as PVC (polyvinyl chloride), needed for temporary buildings and the temporary elements of permanent venues needed for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
