Part of Open Weekend 2010, and the launch of <a href="get-involved/cultural-olympiad-x/major-projects/discovering-places.php">Discovering Places</a>, <a href="events/field-of-flags-dysarticulate.php">Dysarticulate</a> challenged the public to create thousands of recycled flags.

Nelson McCausland, Northern Ireland’s Culture Minister and Paul Deighton, Chief Executive, London 2012 Cultural Olympiad were joined by local children at the <a href="events/rediscovering-dunville-fountain.php">Discover Dunville Fountain event</a>, part of <a href="get-involved/cultural-olympiad-x/major-projects/discovering-places.php">Discovering Places</a>.

Jonathan Edwards CBE, gold medallist, triple jump world record holder and Athlete Representative for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG), joined Loyd Grossman OBE FSA, Chair of the Heritage Alliance, at the Houses of Parliament, a world heritage site, to launch the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad Discovering Places campaign.
