
People of all ages gather at the Bristol <a href="http://www.london2012.com/live-sites">Live Site</a> to enjoy the interactive games on offer as part of <a href="http://www.london2012.com/open-weekend">Open Weekend 2011</a>.<br/><br/>Open Weekend took place over the weekend of Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2011, and Live Sites across the country showed special content to mark the occasion.<br/><br/>
<p>School children enjoy the London 2012 Live Site in Waltham Forest.<br/><br/><a href="live-sites">Live Sites</a> are big screens and event spaces in urban centres offering live information, video, news and community events.<b> </b>They will be the destination for news, events and live screenings of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.</p><p>As part of <a href="open-weekend">Open Weekend 2011</a>, two interactive London 2012 mascot games will be running at Live Sites across the country.<br/></p>
<p>Crowds relax in front of the Live Site in the grounds of Belfast's City Hall. The arrival of the screen and the top-quality sport and entertainment it provides has changed the way that workers and shoppers use Donegall Square.<br/><br/>Live Sites will be the destination for news, events and live screenings of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012. <br/><br/>The screens are erected and run in partnership between the London 2012 Organising Committee, the BBC and the various cities, in association with London 2012 partners BT and Lloyds TSB, supported by Cisco and the National Lottery through the Olympic Lottery Distributor.</p>
