"During my colleague challenge I have visited schools helping young people understand the history behind the Paralympics, what events are held and actually having a go at these. The most memorable and inspirational person was being introduced to Louise. Louise lost three of her limbs when she was a baby when she caught meningitis. She was training at the riding for the disabled centre.She was remarkable, such a happy girl with so much talent. She is hoping to qualify for the 2012 Paralympics fingers crossed she is a inspiration to us all. I also helped the volunteers at the RDA and I understand the huge role they play in the lives of disabled people. Lifting their confidence to reach for goals however large or small. It has been a remarkable journey and it has been a pleasure and honour to be part of it."
