"From a young age I was determined to work with disabled people in sport and I was fortunate to realise this dream. Five years as a Regional Disability Sports Officer organising sports events, coaching, competitions for disabled people delivering Disability awareness training to local Authorities, coaches and teachers, staff member to a junior swim squad to Slovakia, tutoring disability awareness sports courses, supporting disabled people on residential outdoor adventure trips. Two years as National Sports Governing Bodies, Disabled Child Protection Guidelines for sports organisations. Subsequent achievements writing and delivering a Disability Discrimination Act Training course, working on an American Summer Camp for disabled people, regular volunteer at annual disability sports competitions, teaching disability sports within school. I run after school clubs and organised a disability awareness day at the local school and currently run a weekly youth club in my village."
