"Tom develops sitting volleyball in the Kent area and also supports the sport at a national and international level. He is also still active with the National Fire Service Volleyball and attends major competitions with them. Tom was one of the founding fathers of the rebirth of Sitting Volleyball in Great Britain! He found and brought over a Dutch coach and some players, put together the first introductory session that got many people hooked, sat through committee meetings and played to his strength of making things happen. He still supports the Great Britain Sitting Volleyball teams and played an important role in the ECVD Continental Cup which Volleyball England hosted last summer. At events Tom is always one of the first to arrive and last to leave! Tom also supports the development of recreational sitting volleyball - his first love is getting someone with a disability to just get out there on court and enjoy things. He's a fantastic coach seeing the greater picture of people enjoying sport. Tom works really hard behind the scenes and has a determination to get things done, including the seemingly impossible. However, he also works really well as part of a team and is someone everyone can rely on."
