"Sarah Moreland is a Senior Advanced Skills Practitioner at Oaklands College, Hertfordshire. Sarah`s personal goals combine her love of teaching learners with learning difficulties and disabilities, with a passion for riding. Each week she spends over six hours volunteering her time to work with Special Olympics GB, the Special Olympics St Albans equestrian team and the Riding for the Disabled. Sarah was chosen as a coach for the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens. Sarah established the Oaklands College RDA Group in 2008 and has run the very successful annual regional finals at Oaklands College. For the last two years her riders have got through to the national championships winning a range of medals. In 2011 Sarah won a Hertfordshire Sports Award for her services to disability sport and was awarded an MBE Queen`s Birthday Honours for her services to further education"
