Ross's nomination story

"London 2012 Paralympics will be my fourth as a Technical Official. In 2002 I officiated at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games as a Technical Official for Swimming and then three weeks later officiated at Swimming for the Paralympics. Following that I attended 2004 Athens and then 2008 Beijing. I have also officiated at four IPC Swimming World Championships. 1998 was in Christchurch New Zealand, 2002, Mar del Plata, Argentina; 2006, Durban, South Africa and 2010, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. I am an International Level 2 Technical Official and Assessor. I have officiated as a Chief Referee, Referee, Starter, Control Room Supervisor, Judge of Stroke, Inspector of Turns and Time Keeper. I am a member of the IPC Swimming Sport Technical Committee as Head of Officiating. I regard myself as being very fortunate in having the opportunity to share many special moments and memories with our Paralympic Athletes."
