As a passionate Chelsea fan it is an honour to nominate Rob to carry the Paralympic Torch. He consistently inspires people to do things they never thought possible & impresses parents with how he inspires their disabled children to play football for the first time. Many children arrive at his training sessions lacking in confidence but he changes this & ensures self-belief is instilled into every individual with his 'can do' attitude. He encourages working together & always teaches the responsibilities of working as a team. Disabled players are given significant roles at the club like leading training sessions & some have been guided through coaching qualifications. These duties have created an inspirational bond within his sides. Each player is taught the values of courage determination inspiration & equality. By pushing boundaries of what's achievable he motivates others to succeed.
