"Bob is a true inspiration - he has undertaken the following to raise awareness, funding and inspire others outside of his normal day job as a maintain technician: Run the London Marathon 7 times (he is running in 2012) and raised £11,000. Bob has inspired his family and colleagues to run (he regularly runs/cycles to work/encouraged his work colleagues to undertake this sustainable healthy activity). Bob has a brother, Barry, with Downs Syndrome. He supports taking him swimming and running regularly, in addition to activities abroad. Bob`s brother has taken part (with Bob`s support) in sponsored runs - Paddock Wood Fun Run half marathon day. Bob also partakes in Scuba diving activities as a Dive instructor and has lead pool scuba dives for disabled people - including supporting disabled diving for colleagues. Bob`s wife works with people with disabilities and he has supported sporting activities - training for running etc."
