"Raj Mehta is an experienced procurement and IT professional. He is blind. Since joining BP in 1978 he has inspired many colleagues, business partners and friends by demonstrating that despite being blind, barriers and limitations can be overcome with the right attitude, preparation and innovation, along with a healthy sense of humour. Each day working with him lets me find out a little more about the challenges he has overcome (some on a daily basis!) from sports to mountaineering - or navigating the joy that is the Jubilee line - with a tireless sense of humour and great dignity. Eeach day I am filled with more admiration. He is a constant source of inspiration, not just for his business achievements but for his involvement with charities and organisations aimed at raising disability awareness. His achievements epitomise his life philosophy that `the only limits in life are those that you set yourself"
