Patsy's nomination story

"Mother Theresa once said that to change the world you should start one by one! I have been privileged to influence others life's in the past. I donated bone marrow with Anthony Nolan to a teenage girl who was very sick, and at times close to death, she is now a young women, who is married and living life to the full! I have been able to go to India and Africa, and come alongside the people. I worked hard to organise events and fundraise, it`s been great to hear how this has helped them develop. I have a great passion for running marathons, I have now ran 137! One of my friends who also really loves to run marathons is blind, this means he needs a guide or he can't run. I volunteer often, and really love to see the joy on his face as we finish! I love to see other achieve their goals!"
