"Nigel finished 4th in the kilo in Sydney Paralympic Games, since then has been a very active part of the youth coaching scene in the West midlands coaching with his home club Brereton Wheelers and now heading up youth coaching with Lichfield City Cycling club. I first worked with Nigel when we trained on the track together on 2000 and then he was Sarah Reynolds club coach in my early years as a Talent Team coach 2002. He delivers weekly sessions on his local circuit Curborough and also help facilitate the training needs of the youth riders in the club. He tirelessly travels round the country support his clubs riders and his 2 daughters and wife's racing across circuit track and MTB and was the coach for the West Midlands UK School Games team in 2012. Without Nigel here there would be a hole in the West Midlands youth coaching scene!"
