"Michael is an achondroplaisic dwarf, ranked 3rd in shot and discus in the UKA Power of 10 National Rankings. He won the Herts Sports Partnership Service to Sport awards 2008 Contribution to Disability Sport, Young People of the Year Runner-up Positive Role-Model 2009, OCS Runner-up Young Disabled Sports Person 2010. He`s on the Herts Talented Athlete Programme, a Young Gold Ambassador for the 2012 Paralympics and Olympics for his school and Hertsmere, one of 2 Young Ambassadors selected to represent Watford and Hertsmere School Sport Partnership to raise participation in sport among young people and to raise the profile and understanding of the Games. He got a Silver Award from the Schools Sports Partnership for 100 hours of volunteering as a community volunteer, at Watford Harriers coaches, officiates, assists both able bodied and disabled. At school encourages disabled children in sport."
