Jasmine's nomination story

"Jasmine is a truly inspirational young person. She inspires her friends, peers and colleagues on a daily basis. As a young teenager Jasmine had no self confidence or belief, she was bullied terribly and had to change school to escape this. She is a bright girl but struggled with exams as nerves always got the better of her. However she excelled and has won a place at university to train as a Speech Therapist. She decided to take a gap year and is working for Jump Space on a project to develop communication in the centre. She is gaining confidence all the time and is popular with the young people whe works with helping to improve confidence of others. She also works as a leader at her synagogue leading sunday school and holiday projects taking responsibility for trips. She also gained her black belt at Karate this year. She deserves any recognition she can get and torch bearing will give another confidence boost."
