"Jamie took up Boccia aged 14 after his schools carers did an internet search to find a sport he could play. Four years later he has made his way from the Scotland squad, through a Fast Track programme into the GB squad. All the way through coaches have been impressed by his determination and passion for the sport. Not content with training as an elite athlete level Jamie also finds time to coach his local club. He is not eligible to compete in London but is a strong prospect to feature in Rio. Jamie`s progress in the sport and his positive attitude are a real example to any young people with disabilities who think that they can`t compete in sport at the highest level."
