"22 year old volunteer James Topping from North London is being put forward not only for his drive and dedication, but also because, not so long ago, he was one of the very children that come to us for rehabilitation after a serious head injury in a car accident which killed three of his friends. James` determination and strength of will helped him to survive. At first he could not walk, speak or do anything for himself. But due to his determination and our skilled staff he learnt to walk again and is now a trained tree surgeon. His ongoing work is a constant inspiration. In the last five years James has become a dedicated ambassador for the Trust, giving his time to raise funds and tell his story to the public and this year he undertook his greatest fundraising challenge yet and climbed Kilimanjaro in aid of us."
