"Since 1999 I have competed for Great Britain in a minority sport called Biathe. During this time I have won the world championships twice in 2006 and 2008. In the last 13 years I have represented my country at 11 world championships as well as at other international Biathe events. Despite being autistic, I try and encourage, inspire and help as many people into this sport as possible. I have just set up the Yorkshire biathlete club as a way of getting more people into this sport and have also organised a local Biathlete event for the last 5 years. It is said that a lot of people look up to me for inspiration but I just see it as doing a job for the sport. I also try not to take any credit publicity or recognition for it, I would rather see other people getting recognised instead."
