"Erica is an enthusiastic, hard working student who has been involved in many aspects of the international inspiration programme at school. She has participated in sports leaders-planning, preparing and delivering lesson plans to other young leaders- both disabled and non disabled. She has also coached pupils from local primary schools - both disabled and non disabled, in the danceleaders programme which brings young people together through dance. She is a member of the house student leadership team who have been planning olympic week- which takes place during the last week of summer term - culminating in our own olympic opening ceremony and sportsday. Erica is a true role model to others and is firmly of the mindset that sport is a positive and inspiring thing to all young people, regardless of their ability, age, gender or race. She is honoured to carry the paralympic flame."
