"David`s drive, energy, energy and enthusiasm for organising events got me on a bike to ride from coast to coast across Scotland. 120 miles was the route, I made about 80 of it. He is the organising catalyst around a number of highly succesful fund raising activities carried out under CSR events in Scotland, without his input the results would be so much less. The challenges seem never to daunt him, there is always a way to circumvent impossible, imponderable bureaucracy. This climaxed in the stunning success of the CREW event; David was part of the team who attracted Dame Ellen McArthur, Graham Obree, many athletes and 150 black tie guests to a fund raising night in the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh - unbelievable. He is always involved in all the good CSR events we run. His determination, courage and tenacity are key to these successes. Selflessness and determination are born from personal involvement living with a handicapped sibling and the challenges around making life normal. David organised the decorating of a local Respite Care Home after the death of his brother. This must have been difficult, returning to Sundach where his brother had spent enjoyable times."
