"My four-year old son suffers from Cerebral Palsy. Since his birth, doctors told us that Indra would not walk. It is difficult to keep faith against the odds, but I wanted to trust my son and give him all the chances possible to become mobile. For the last three years, our families and therapists have worked with him 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. We have spent all our holidays to treat him in specialised centres. I spent hours every week with him in a heated pool doing therapy. More recently, I have raised a large amount of money for a cutting edge surgery for my son in the U.S. I donate to charities that work with disabled children, and to raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy. Indra has progressed tremendously. Last week, he took his first independent step and said, ""Daddy, don't hold my hand."" If this is possible, then why not bike or run? "
