"Belinda works tirelessly as the manager of a charity that supports children with additional needs and disabilities. On top of the many hours she puts in to provide the service she dedicates a huge chunk of her free time to fund raising for things like equipment for the children`s play sessions, activities and outings for the children and their families as well as money to deliver a free family support service for over 330 local families. Belinda is also working hard to try and develop sibling groups/young carer support as well as a specialised pre-school for toddlers with disability. She actively supports adults with needs as well, and encourages their self esteem by nurturing them and providing work experience opportunities to help build their life skills and establish some independence.
