"She is 14 years old and is an Italian wheelchair fencer. When she was 11, she contracted meningitis and in three months had her arms and legs amputated: she is the only paralympic fencer in the world with no arms and no legs. The dream of Bebe is to be in Paralympic Games: she wants to compete in Rio 2016 in fencing (before amputation she was regional champ) and athletics (friend of Bebe is Oscar Pistorius). She won last year's European Championships for Teenagers in Poland. Two years ago she was 12 and the Italian Fencing Federation considered her too young to be able to compete in international tournaments with adults and so they didn't let her try to gain the pass for London. Today they discovered it has been a terrible mistake. She started dealing with the Italian paralympic wheelchair fencing team only 6 months ago and already today she is the best of the women?
