"I have worked with children and adults with either under privileged backgrounds and various abilities and disabilities for a long time. Whilst in the Royal Navy, I spent time as we all did, working in the community teaching mixed physical ability groups how to swim as a qualified swimming coach and transferred these skills to coaching rugby to children from the age of 11 upwards through to Colts, more recently. I currently raise funds for a Hospice in Chester who supported my mother in the last weeks of her life. My wife and I also through my home business Chalfont Chillies, support a large number of local charities attending events with our stall and donating product/prizes and a percentage of proceeds. Including the Leonard Cheshire home in Gerrards Cross and the Pace Centre in Aylesbury who provide an education for life for children affected by cerebral palsy."
