"I joined the Scout Movement in 1984 and have been managing a Scout Troop for 23 years, delivering with my team a programme of progressive training for young people. I have taken many scouts to camp all over the UK and around Europe. In addition I have held commissioner roles for 13 years and since 2007 have been involved in training the new adults coming into Scouting within Middlesex. I also joined Inner Wheel, the largest women`s organisation in the world, around 1999 and have been helping raise money to send to many UK Charities and sending aid overseas to disaster areas and war torn countries. I have been President of the club twice and was Treasurer for 2 years. As a trained minibus driver, I drive for Uxbridge United Welfare Trust throughout the year, taking their elderly residents to various events and I organise their summer BBQ."
