"Alison has been involved in paralympic children's sports for nearly 25 years playing a variety of roles. Athletics is where she has spent most hours, in particular playing the role that only a Mum can play in helping to develop and bring up World Record Holder and Paralympic Silver Medallist Ben Rushgrove. On top she has helped thousands of children over her years as a teacher."
