France proved to be a surprise package on Day 2 of the Paralympic Games Table Tennis competition as their athletes produced a string of breathtaking performances to achieve a staggering 21 wins across 11 different classes.

The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) has confirmed that Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, will open the Paralympic Games in the Olympic Stadium on 29 August.
