Played by athletes who are blind or have a visual impairment, 13 events will feature across seven weight categories. Visually impaired athletes who are deaf may also compete.

Very little is different between the Olympic and Paralympic sport: mainly that to orient themselves players have physical contact with their opponent before each contest begins.

All athletes will be confirmed following the sport entries deadline on 6 August 2012.
