1,750 unique registrations will go on sale at the auction

One of the last licensees to be appointed before London 2012, the DVLA will be offering Games-themed personalised registration number plates.

GO11 DEN, GB12 ROW and RUN 100M are just a few of the 1,750 registrations available and are expected to be a big hit with motorists and sporting fans alike.

Members of the public will be able to purchase London 2012 registration plates from the DVLA website and at an auction at London's City Hall on 7–9 June.

1,750 unique registrations will go on sale at the auction including GO11 DEN, OG12 GBR and 2012 OG. You can choose from five easy ways to bid: attend the sale, bid over the phone, bid live online or by absentee or SMS bids. View all lots, register to bid or download a free catalogue on the DVLA auctions website. Bid deadlines apply.

LOCOG Commercial Director Chris Townsend said: 'We are delighted to welcome the DVLA as the latest addition to the London 2012 merchandise programme.

'I’m sure that this London 2012-themed range of personalised registration number plates will really strike a note with fans of the Games.’
