MacLean, who won Olympic Team Sprint silver in Sydney in 2000, added: 'It would've been nice to be celebrating the double, but I suppose we've redeemed ourselves a little bit. It's always nice to win.'

In the women's Individual B Pursuit, world champions Catherine Walsh and Francine Meehan of Ireland met New Zealand's Phillipa Gray and Laura Thompson, who set a world record of 3:31.530 in qualifying, in the race for gold.
The Kiwi duo won in 3:32.243, with Walsh and Meehan taking silver in 3:36.360.
Aileen McGlynn and Helen Scott beat fellow Britons Lora Turnham and Fiona Duncan to bronze.
In the final Track action of the London 2012 Games, China's Liu Xinyang, Ji Xiaofei and Xie Hao won the Mixed C 1-5 Team Sprint in a world record of 49.454, with Britain second in 49.519, also beneath the previous best, while the USA took bronze.
