Four goals from Wang Ruixue, including a penalty, and one from Chen Fengqing eased the Chinese to top spot in the group following a dominant performance.

Maija Somerkivi and Katja Heikkinen scored either side of the break for Finland but they could not stay in touch.

The result lifted China to the summit of Group C, while despite their defeat, Finland also qualify for the knockout stages.
